Coronavirus Measures on Re-Opening

Breedon Hall is committed to our guests, our staff and ourselves health and safety in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic.

We have put in additional measures including enhanced cleaning and removal of some furniture to increase social spacing for our guests.

​

We would like to reassure our guests that we are adhering to the guidelines issued by the British Government, Public Health England and the National Health Service regarding coronavirus (COVID-19).

The health of our staff and guests is our priority, and we have therefore put in place the following precautionary measures:

​

• We are only opening, initially, our three biggest and most separated rooms: Quorn, Meynell & Belvoir. All are ensuite doubles;

• Breakfast will now be taken in the bedrooms, not in, as hitherto, our main kitchen or dining rooms. This will be a Continental style breakfast and will be delivered at a time of your liking on a tray outside your door.

• Additional hand sanitisers will be available in all rooms used by guests.

• We have introduced additional cleaning to our already comprehensive routines, especially focusing on touchpoints such as door handles, public bathrooms, etc.

• All our staff are receiving regular guidance and updates on how to prevent COVID-19 in the workplace.

Finally, we reserve the right to ask any guests putting other guests / staff / ourselves at risk through avoidable contact or other activities to leave immediately without refund.

General

Payments by cash, cheque, BACs, or PayPal (ie. credit/debit cards).

A credit/debit card (which will be pre-authorised but no money taken) is required to secure a reservation.

Full booking balance to be paid on departure plus any extras incurred.

Cancellation

Due to ongoing uncertainties related to Coronavirus, we have ceased to charge cancellation fees. What we now prefer to do is simply offer alternative dates, if this is possible, to guests. As we no longer take deposits, and instead just pre-authorise a credit card, this is very easy to do and inconveniences no-one. If an alternative date is unfeasible, then your credit card details will be deleted.

No shows, however, without explanation, will be charged £100.00 per room.

Meals

Your standard room price includes the cost of a full English breakfast.

Dinner can be added for a supplemental price*.

Children

Realistically, Breedon Hall is not suitable for children under 10 years of age. However, we will and do make exceptions, please call us first to enquire.
