Bed & Breakfast
Private Event Venue

Whilst we could never lay claim to 5-star status, as an award-winning Alastair Sawday “Special Place to Stay”, we offer a high quality country house style bed & breakfast experience, with five ensuite bedrooms. 'Experience' is another way of saying we are fully signed up to the Alastair Sawday ethos: we are different, not bland and our personalities are very much part of our business!

We also welcome dogs!  Obviously, well-mannered, house-trained and non-aggressive ones, but otherwise all shapes and sizes can come and share a bedroom with you. Just keep them off the beds and soft furnishings please. For more info please click here.

We are popular with bridal parties preparing for their big day, booking the entire house out and taking advantage of the privacy & intimacy we feel able to offer, prior to 'launch'!

Our own in-house catering is headed up by Charlotte, who already has a well-deserved reputation created over 20 years running her own business. Suffice to say she has never had to advertise.

We can host small events (no more than 40 in the house) or larger ones if you opt for a marquee in the garden. We're fully licensed too.

All our rooms are ensuite and they are all named after famous Hunts.

A full English breakfast is traditional here ... but you can also start with fresh fruits, fresh eggs from our hens & home-made granola.

Our gardens are free to wander around in, expertly maintained by Paul our gardener.
